The power MOSFET transistors as transistors general?
I would like to replace a transistor with a larger one, I found some of the power MOSFET transistor, but I do not know if it will do the same thing. Wiki has too much information, and is not simply nature, so I got nothing to go there. Can someone explain to me the dfference between a standard and a transistor of a power MOSFET?
It is similar to a small amount of power controls a larger amount. But the entrance is sensitive to voltage, not current. One standard (bipolar) transistor is a collector current equal to the current base times the gain. A mosfet turns on when the voltage goes above a certain point. The door has a high impedance, so there is very little current input. The gain is given in transconductance (current divided by voltage) instead of a pure number (current divided by current). In most cases, the gate voltage (relative to the source terminal) should be 5 to 10 volts the mosfet turns on. After that, the current will increase with increasing gate voltage. The drainage of the circuit acts as a quasi-source resistance, then the specifications may list the actual resistance, typically in milliohms, at a certain gate voltage. MOSFETs come in n-channel and p-channel versions. The n-channel type of acts similar to an NPN transistor: controlling a current with a positive gate voltage. The p-channel is comparable to a PNP transistor.
