Film Value
What are the optimal speed, aperature value, film speed, etc., for photographing meteor showers?
I'll be using Canon Elan 7/NE with a Sigma 28-90 lens to try and take some pictures of the Geminid Meteor shower next week. In the case of filters to use? I never tried astrophotography before, and there are entirely too many opinions on the Internet to sort through the camera settings on this topic.
Choose a place where there is a certain type interesting knowledge, put the camera on a tripod, set the aperture three stops and focus to infinity. Then the shutter open for a minute or two ... perhaps ten minutes. As you shoot, control the exposure to make sure that you have captured some of the meteorites. You have to find a place were there is too much ambient light, so that the light pollution does not hide the meteorites percorsi
