HVAC tech said that he found a loss in evaporator coil and I need air handler replaced. Do I?
HVAC tech said that he found a loss in the evaporator coil and I need air handler replaced. I need to replace the air is their manager or cheaper option out there? How much is the average indoor AH going to cost?
It depends on the condition of your evaporator coil. If the evaporator is relatively new, fleeing might be repairable, but are very difficult, and will have a labor cost more than the replacement of the coil is a value. You should ask for three references: the escape reel repair, replace the coil and the voice coil itself, and replace the air handler.
