Sometimes there are so many different options in binding covers that can be difficult to know what could be better coverage for you. This article was designed to help understand the different options available in Poly Binding covers, their thicknesses, patterns and colors available.
Many users prefer plastic covers over paper covers because poly is waterproof, impossible to tear, heat resistant, stain-resistant and incredibly durable. Here's a quick overview of the poly covers available ...
1. Sand covers major poles are 12mil covers with a fine sand like finish on one side. They are packaged in 100 count packages and are some of the cheapest plastic binding covers available on the market. Sand Poly Covers are available in a number of different colors including Matte (frost), black, dark green, dark blue, brown and green transparent.
2nd Stripe major concerns poles are 12mil thick binding covers with a diagonal stripe pattern embossed on them giving them texture and an elegant feel. They are all translucent or transparent, allowing you to see your page with the cover and are packaged in 100 count packs. Stripe Embossed Poly Covers are available in transparent blue, clear, transparent green, transparent smoke, Maroon transparent, transparent, and Aqua.
3rd Leather grain poly covers 16 thousand relief thick binding covers with an embossed leather grain texture for the appearance of the skin with the strength and durability of poles. Are available primarily in opaque colors with the exception of matte satin grain leather poles. They are packaged in 50 count packs leather grain poly covers are available in black, dark blue, brown, dark green, blue, dark gray, and clear (opaque).
4th Crystal Embossed Poly binding covers 16 thousand thick with a raised diamond plate pattern. They are popular with contractors, home inspectors and construction companies. They are packed in 50 count packages and are available in four transparent colors, including: Clear, Blue, Red, and smoking.
5th Holographic 3D Poly binding covers are often 16 or 19mil and have a single model built in shiny holographic covers. A great way to capture the attention of your customers and make your report and supporting documents. They are packaged in 50 count packages and are available in five translucent colors include: Smoke, clear, blue, green and mint.
6. Frost Poly covers are made from a 14mil poly material with a finish that has a very subtle texture in relief (more smooth, covering the sand embossed poles). These poles from GBC premium covers are available in many different sizes including letter, oversize and index compensation.
7th GBC Poly gel covers are made from a 14mil poly material with a finish similar to their poly covers frost. However, GBC gel covers are available in three designer colors including sage green, steel blue and plum (Amber gel covers have been discontinued).
