Air conditioning?
The high pressure for my central air conditioner, it is cool to the touch, when the air conditioning is running. I was told that when the compressor is running the line at high pressure must be warm or hot. Any ideas what this could mean?
If you are cooling well do not worry. It may depend on the distance from the compressor. I can guarantee that closer to the compressor will be more hot. Near the evaporator coils and away from the compressor, but it is still fresh un po 'di freddo. It may be just the cool evaporator radiates on that line. As long as they are not drops of water or ice is good. If the glaze is high side, and it was not cooling, which usually means that they have lost enough evaporative cooler that the gas is in the front line you will reach the expansion valve where it is supposed to evaporate. Do not worry about it. In reality can be a good thing is that your condenser is doing a good job of exhausting all the heat and then cool by the time the air reaches the operator.
