Would wearing rubber gloves have the same effect with an antistatic wrist while handling components pc?
Or how else could i improvise? Thank you
Been in the business long enough to remember when you had to wear a bracelet because electrical components were very sensitive a static, but in IBM mini / mainframe days. For as long as I can remember I have not worn one. If you are sensitive to static electricity, simply by touching a radiator / cold water before touching the handle component is sufficient to discharge any static build-up. Never has nothing on me due to static, despite leaving all types of components lap.
