Amp Diode
If the application requires a 6 amp diode, but can not find one, you can run two three parallel amp?
I have a brushless 3500 watt 120/240 volt generator which is bad diodes in armor, and I can not find 6 amp small enough to fit in the space, but I can find 3 amp which can be of two in space.
Not recommended unless: 1. Have you had an external circuit to make both parties equally diode current, for example, a ballast resistance in series with each diode, O 2. diodes are closely coupled thermally. This condition may be difficult to meet unless both diodes are in the same case, or at least are mounted close to each other on the same heat sink. The diode with the lower voltage drop will be carried forward most of the current, this heating diode, but leaving as little conductor diode cool. In heating, the forward drop of the realization of diode drop even more, making it even more to carry the current. This continues until the thermal equilibrium is established, in which one of the diode conducts most of the current. If the diodes are closely coupled heat, heating a diode heat will also be one of the other, reducing the voltage drop forward for the less-conductor diode, and allows for more current.
