How do I update my BIOS to recognize a HD larger than 137 GB?
I recently purchased a 300 GB HD, it says that if my board was produced before August 2002 will need a PCI card UDMA. When I went to buy one, he said the technology should be able to update my BIOS, instead of buying the paper. I have a motherboard Elitgroup, but when I look for the model and the version #, none of the model # 's the same as mine. That What can I do? Thanks for your help!
Take it back and get another hard drive. If your main hard drive is not better to have the outside as a backup. You can get a concert for about $ 500 $ 150 or less.
