How many of you out there are familiar with the different varieties of pot racks available to you? You are updated on the types, styles, finish / color, price, brand and size of these amazing kitchen space savers? I thought so.

Today I am going to give you the opportunity to learn all there is to know about Pot Racks. Keep a pen and paper handy. You might want to take notes. Seriously, with the time to thoroughly read this information, there will be an expert in Pot Rackology.

Let me start by saying that pot rack has been used since 1400. Back then pot racks were used mainly by families lower income, because the kitchens in their houses were small, with little room for any extra cost. These first versions of pot racks were hung on both hooks from the ceiling or a wall in the kitchen. Wall Mounted Pot Rack is just what the words say. These pot racks are mounted on the wall of your kitchen. So there is a need to have one side of a wall mounted on a wire rack in the pot so the dish can be rack mounted firmly against the wall. When mounting on a wall mounted pot rack is recommended that mounted in the stud inside the wall to support the maximum weight.

Some swivel wall pot rack. All this means that a hinge is built into the pot rack or on the right or left side. This will allow the wall of the pot rack swing out from the wall.

There are two types of pot racks are available for most those of you with more space in your kitchen.

You could use a floor standing pot rack. These are usually tripod with shelves built in the center of tripod for storing pots and pans. This device requires a little 'space on a corner of your kitchen floor.

The other plan in place pot rack kitchen island is a food preparation station. These kitchen islands are constructed of wood or metal with butcher block food prep work.
