Normally, and to obtain an official handicap, the golf pro at your club needs to do so. However, it is a fairly simple process. You have to play more rounds of golf on a full 18-hole golf course and keep your score. You do not have to be the same way, but it is recommended. Once you have the evaluation, total them up, divide the total by the number of rounds played, and subtract 72. Example: You play 3 rounds of golf and scored 85 87, 100 (bad day, that). Total Score: 85 + 87 + 100 = 272. Divided the total by the number of rounds played: 272 / 3 = 90.66666 (91) Subtract 72 (for 18 holes, par) by the new total: 91 - 72 = 19.
