Can an exhaust manifold leaking due to a loss of HP / power?
I have a 1995 Pontiac Trans Am. If my exhaust is leaking, you can experience HP / loss of power? If so any idea what? And if there is a loss of power loss may worsen over time? When I floor the car, still flies and does not seem to be anything missing. But when I have the acceleration of a more normal pace, it seems that the car is weaker than it should be. It could be the loss of, or I am just myself pysching out? Do plan on replacing the manifold gaskets or replace the manifold with the headers, but could be a little 'time I wonder why the effect it has on the machine in the meantime. The car has 180,000 km. It works great, was the work of prevention. This is the only problem with the engine. The collector has been leaking for at least 1500 miles
headers will give you much more than maybe even 5 hp 15HP. yes, but a loss in the collector can cause a decline due to cylinder (s) to lose an amount of pressure on the back o2 sensor system to cause the decline cv.
